Nokia N8 mobile the most desperately expected smartphone

Nokia N8 enables people to create compelling content, connect to their favourite social networks and enjoy the latest on-demand Web TV programs and Ovi Store apps. That makes it one of the most desperately expected mobile phone. The Nokia N8 will be available in select markets during the third quarter of 2010. Nokia N8 mobile has a 12 megapixel camera and HD quality videos can be made, edited with built-in editing suite. N8 provides a true home theater experience with HD quality film and Dolby Digital Plus surround sound. Also, one can plug the device to their home theatre system with an HDMI cable. N8 facilitates access to local and global Web Television services to receive TV programs, news and entertainment from CNN, National Geographic, E! Entertainment and Paramount etc directly on their homescreen. You can update your status, share the location you presently at and photos. Also, you can view live feeds from your Twitter and Facebook account in a single app directly on the home screen. Your social network’s calendar events may also be transferred to the device calendar. Nokia N8 equipped with free global Ovi Maps walk and drive navigation. It has internal built-in storage of 16GB which can be further expandable up to 48GB with a Micro SD card. Also, one can easily transfer their large files to memory stick with the USB On-the-Go.

Nokia is also offering application developers a new platform where they can innovate more applications and tools. Nokia N8 has bundled Qt, a software development environment. Qt will enable easy application development can be deployed across Symbian and other software platforms.

But Nokia enthusiasts want more from their N8…..

Most of the people on various blogs and forums are discussing about low and ancient hardware Nokia has chosen for its future flagship N8. Nokia N8 offers 256MB RAM memory, which may be enhanced to 512 MB to add more power to it. Also some are worried about N8’s upgradeability to Symbian^4 or Meego when released.
